Coos Bay, Oregon

Careful review of structural systems was critical for the rehabilitation of this historic building. Years of neglect and abuse had damaged portions of the structure, requiring each component to be examined and tested for strength and durability to meet occupancy requirements. The project was awarded the Oregon Governor’s Special Recognition Award.

The Building was converted to the administrative office for a local bank. A central atrium was created to provide a bright daylight interior space in this 100 foot square building.
