The “Just Kids” daycare, preschool and kindergarten facility operates in the Roosevelt Elementary School. The 1930’s building was in good shape, but required updating and the addition of a multipurpose/play area for the children to meet the daycare programming requirements.
Crow/Clay designed upgrades for the classroom facilities including bathroom additions, changing areas and storage rooms. Previous work that did not comply with necessary codes was removed and/or corrected. A 3,000 square foot multipurpose area was added to the north side of the existing building. The multipurpose area also houses two storage areas, an area to set up a portable stage and a sound booth. A graphic eye system was also incorporated to provide lighting flexibility and preset stage lighting combinations.
