Coos Bay, Oregon

As life long residents of Coos Bay, the owners wished to enhance this prominent corner of downtown Coos Bay by modifying the facade of the existing building to echo the building styles of the late 1800’s when Coos Bay was a busy, thriving lumber port. Planning for the future, they also requested that the facade respond to the potential division of the building into three separate retail units. This is Phase One of the facade improvement, which was awarded a grant by the City of Coos Bay. Phase Two, which includes removing the stone veneer and existing storefront windows replacing them with windows and pilasters complementary to the upper level is in progress.
