Dr. Bill Massey – Memorial Garden
Ms. Susan Massey honored Crow/Clay & Associates Inc. by commissioning the design of this memorial to her late husband. It is located at the emergency entrance to Bay Area Hospital and provides a tranquil and serene setting for patients (and staff) to escape to.
The garden is nestled into the walls of the hospital, enclosed by decorative brick walls and entered through an elegant custom made wrought iron gate. It features an ornamental statue fountain within a pool surrounded by sculptured boulders and soft landscaping. A concrete aggregate pathway leads visitors around the pool to seating sheltered from the rain by a cantilevered steel and glass structure.
