Vernonia City Hall & Library

The new 6,000 S. F. City Hall incorporates the City’s administrative offices, Chamber of Commerce office, Police Station (with sally port), holding cells, courtroom and jury room. Crow/Clay & Associates Inc. designers worked to incorporate a ten-foot long, oak and marble counter with glass partitions from the first Vernonia bank, which was later used in the Old City Hall. This antique counter is now featured as part of the reception area in the New City Hall. New woodwork being installed in the building was selected to match this antique counter. The new 3,000 S. F. library features window walls that maximize the available daylight as desired by the head librarian. Crow/Clay & Associates Inc. is currently designing a learning center comprised of classrooms and offices for the City.
